taufik is my SINGAPORE IDOL!!!!!
haha. can't believe he won. was so sure that sly would. sly's performance ytd was quite bad. i lost count of the number of times i cringed. i wasembarressed for him! heh. but at least he was much better than the previous spectaculars... taufik was great (as always)! i loved his rendition of me and mrs jones!!!!! absolutely amazing! taufik rox! i dream...
oh yes on monday we had a little farewell party for gladys and yilin (who most unfortunately could not come due to a bad tummyache) at weng's house. we just sat round playing carrum n cards and gorging ourselves silly with junk food. then natalie showed up! we talked for quite a while, no really awward silences like the last time we saw her! we exchanged stories and it was really interesting. then we played water games! everyone made sure everyone else got really really wet. haha. after that we washed up and had dinner. there was an incredible amount of food for so few of us. after dinner cleo taught pet and i this really infectious card game and even though it was time to go home i kept pet waiting cos i wanted to continue playing! haha.
then on tuesday we went to CHS to give a little presentation on our performance in perth. after that we joined them in their treasure hunt! their school was huge and completely beautiful but weng (who's in my group) and i ran until we were completely out of breath. we were suppose to look for phrases and props to use in a skit everyone was putting up after the treasure hunt. it was really really funny. it ended aroung 5 and they even had souvenirs for us. that was unexpected... i took the bus home with gladys. waited nearly half an hour. ugh! then we had o run like crazy to catch the mrt! went home extremely sticky...
